Reclaimed Wood Headboard DIY Installation – Made From Real Barn Wood

We have created a do it yourself installation kit to create your very own reclaimed wood head board. These boards are all from local barns that were built usually early 1900’s. This kit can be purchased to go on the wall or to attach to a bed frame and stand alone from the wall. Each kit comes complete with easy to follow directions and pre-drilled holes.  They do require a little assembly but nothing you can’t handle! Each board is cut to length and the edges are fairly even so they will fit together well. The rest of the boards are authentic reclaimed barn wood and in their natural state. These have tons of character and charm as the years of weather have worn away at some boards giving a very rustic dimensional look and feel. There are nail holes, knots, and other natural markings. This kit is designed to make a custom headboard without all the complex work. We have included easy to follow instructions as well as all the screws and bolts you will need to install it. can be easily removed and re-installed elsewhere if you wish. Boards are random width and approximately 3/4” thick. We offer two versions, one that is a shorter traditional headboard high, and a second that allows you to take the wood to the ceiling for a more dramatic room feature. Queen standard headboard is 37” high x 63”wide for a total of 16.5 square feet. Queen ceiling is 70” high x 63” wide for a total of 31 square feet. King standard headboard is 37” high x 81” wide for a total of 21 square feet. King ceiling is 70” high x 81” wide for a total of 39.5 square feet.
