DESCRIPTION
This iPhone stand is made from Old Growth Hand Hewn timbers salvaged from our farmhouse circa 1874, during a recent renovation. These beams were hand cut with an adze from trees on the property in 1872 by our records. If you count the rings these trees were approximately 90 years old when cut down which means they started growing in 1784. You can clearly see and feel the adze marks and some of the square cut original nails are still embedded in the wood.
The groove is wide enough to accept most covers and there is ample room in the bottom holes for even a 30 pin connector to plug in. Finger holes have been cut in to allow access to bottom front button. Each piece has been sanded ,sealed, and waxed for a warm feel and easy cleaning. The bottom also includes 4 rubber feet so the stand doesn’t move around and allows for the cable on the bottom to rest.
